DiTEBA Publishes New Whitepaper: Overcoming Challenges with Quantitative Bioanalysis of Proteins and Peptides
Posted on Fri, Jul 22, 2011
DiTEBA is pleased to announce the publication of it's latest whitepaper authored by Dr. Theo Kapanadze. This whitepaper attempts to demonstrate the importance of employing mass spectrometric techniques for the quantification of bioactive proteins and peptides.
Dr. Kapanadze believes that it is crucial for biopharmaceutical companies to develop sensitive, selective and cost-effective approaches for the quantification of bioactive proteins and peptides that will maximize the substantial achievements from the field of proteomics to play a significant role in the advancement of medicine and the development of future therapies.
Proteins and peptides are complex molecules with diverse physicochemical characteristics and although progress has been made, the development of ‘‘generic’’ biosimilars methodologies will not be as easy as it has been perhaps for the analysis of small organic molecules.
Dr. Kapanadze has posted an article on Diteba's Blog that provides more information on this whitepaper and how you can get the whitepaper.
