Senior Research Chemist
Diteba Research Laboratories is looking for a Senior Research Chemist to support our pharmaceutical testing group.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Perform UPLC, UPLC-MS/MS, and HPLC testing on pharmaceutical products according to established procedures and SOP's
- Perform all laboratory duties per GMP and GLP requirements
- Perform extraction and quantification of drugs from bio matrices
- Provide technical expertise across the research function
- Ability to research and evaluate the feasibility of new analytical methods
- Lead the development and troubleshooting of new analytical methods
- Modify existing analytical methods to provide new applications/end-use
- Review and evaluate raw data for acceptability
The ideal candidate would possess:
- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
- 5+ years working LC/MS/MS experience in a pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical environment
- Strong method development validation expertise with both small and large molecules
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (five years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)
- Experience with GMP and GLP regulations
